This policy distinguishes between two things that are easy to confuse:

• This website (www.kilter-app.com) — a marketing site where you can read about Kilter and request a demo.
• The Kilter product — the reconciliation software itself, which is self-hosted on the customer's own infrastructure.

The distinction matters because Kilter the product has no telemetry, no phone-home, and no update checks. Transaction data, statements, GL extracts, account details and audit records stay entirely inside the customer's own deployment. We do not receive it, store it, or have any technical means of accessing it. For data processed inside a customer's Kilter instance, the customer is the data controller; this policy does not govern it.

Everything below therefore concerns only the limited personal data we handle through this website.

Kilter is a product of Timeless NYPO Tech Ltd, a company incorporated in Ghana. We are the controller for personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at info@timelessnypotech.com.

Information you give us

When you submit the demo or contact form, we collect the details you enter — typically your name, organisation, work email, message, and which reconciliation streams you're interested in. Please do not submit confidential, regulated, or live production data through the website forms.

Information collected automatically

• Edge/server logs. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) processes standard request metadata — IP address, user agent, timestamp, and the page requested — to serve and secure the site.
• Privacy-first analytics (optional). When enabled, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and does not perform cross-site tracking or fingerprinting. We do not use advertising cookies, marketing pixels, or third-party tracking scripts.

We use one functional setting in your browser's local storage to remember your light/dark theme preference. It is not a tracking cookie and is never sent to us.

• To respond to your enquiry and arrange a demo or pilot.
• To communicate with you about Kilter where you've asked us to.
• To operate, secure, and improve this website.

Where the GDPR or comparable law applies, we rely on your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about our products and in keeping the website secure. You can withdraw consent or object at any time by emailing us.

We do not sell personal data or share it for advertising. We use a small number of processors to run the site and handle enquiries:

• Cloudflare — website hosting, security, and optional privacy-first analytics.
• Microsoft — the mailbox and notification channel (Outlook / Teams) that receives demo-form submissions and email.

We may also disclose information where required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, and property.

This site is served from Cloudflare's global edge network, so request data may be processed in data centres outside your country. Our providers apply recognised safeguards for international transfers.

We keep demo and contact submissions only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry and any resulting relationship, after which we delete or anonymise them. Edge logs are retained for short operational and security windows by our hosting provider.

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to access, correct, delete, or restrict the personal data we hold about you, or to receive a copy of it. To exercise any right, email info@timelessnypotech.com. You also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Kilter is a business product sold to financial institutions. This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data.

We may update this policy as the website or our practices change. The current version always lives at this URL, with the “last updated” date above.
